About Me

My name is Dwight Davison. I'm a father of 3 (Michelle, Kenneth, and Morgan) and happily married. I am a devoted Christian and a Navy Chief. I was born in the 60's however I didn't have the normal upbringing that most would have during that time. Both my wonderful and loving parents worked for the State Department so I grew up overseas and had the opportunity to experience cultures from countries all over the world and see some of the most amazing wonders of the earth before I even reached adulthood. Once I became an adult I followed in my father's footsteps and joined the United States Navy. The slogan at that time was "Live the Adventure" and considering my life had already been an adventure up til then, I figured I would continue it and indeed I did. I spent 23 years in the Navy and retired as Chief Petty Officer. I am proud of the time I was in and accomplished and saw so much. I was in 3 wars, circumnavigated the earth on board several naval ships, been through the Panama and Suez Canal, and visited even more countries. I am a well traveled individual however I am enjoying my settled down life with family now. God has blessed me with an incredible life so far, full of love and loss like everyone and I thought I would create a place to share my thoughts, ideas, advice or just day to day happenings.
